Lietaer/Dunne visit – the quick updatePosted: 1 Apr, 2013
What a fun, stimulating, educational, inspirational time with Jacqui Dunne and Bernard Lietaer this week.
This is the quick and dirty update because I need a day off at the moment. Will be back later this week with in-depth report on our wonderful all-day workshop with local organizers and participants. Very fruitful and thought-provoking.
The two co-authors of Rethinking Money: How New Currencies Turn Scarcity Into Prosperity informed and inspired a rapt crowd of about 150 people at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery on a beautiful holiday evening.
On Saturday, I worked with Bernard to give a full-day workshop where we presented about where we are now, some possibilities for where we can go to become more effective, and how we might proceed in getting there. It seems safe to say everyone’s heads were exploding by the end of the day.
So, I look forward to sharing the details with you and as always will attempt to keep you posted as thoroughly as possible as we proceed.
Thanks for reading,
p.s. my favorite part of the visit was at the end of our dinner on their last night here, Bernard’s fortune cookie fortune read “You don’t need to worry about money. The best things in life are free.” Wonderful!
